What age children can attend?

The group is for preschool children, generally those aged 0-6.

 

​Can younger babies/siblings attend? 

Yes, siblings under 14 months of age can attend our playgroups free of charge.

 

​Can the father of my child bring him/her to the playgroup?

Yes, we welcome any member of the family over the age of 18 years to attend as a guardian.  Guardians must supervise their children at all times and we encourage active participation during our playgroup sessions.

 

Do I have to participate?

Parent involvement is a critical part of playgroup and you are responsible to help your child with different tasks and activities unless otherwise advised by the facilitator.

 

What happens once I’ve registered?

After registering your child, you will receive a welcome email within the next business day containing all the necessary information. Additionally, you will be added to the WhatsApp group where further communication will take place.

 

What if the weather is really bad? 

According to our policy, we do not offer refunds for bad weather/missed days. However, if the weather is extremely windy or there is heavy rain, we can conduct the session indoors at our Airport West studio. If we have to cancel the session entirely, we will arrange a makeup session during the school holidays.

Do you offer make-up sessions if I can’t attend?

Yes we do offer make up sessions. You do need to notify us at least 1 day prior if you are unable to attend. You are able to use the make up session/s during the school holidays on the same day or you can join another days session. Please notify us via email about any absences before the 9:00 PM deadline the night before.

 

What happens if a session is postponed/Cancelled?
If we postpone a session due to extreme weather or lockdown we will move it to the same day of the week during school holidays. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to attend the rescheduled session. Refunds will not be issued if the children are unable to attend the makeup session. 

 

Do you offer trial sessions? 

We offer trial sessions for new members so you get the opportunity to experience the playgroup before you commit to enrolling for the term. Trial sessions can be booked online.

What do I need to pack?

Upon receiving the welcome email, you will find a detailed list of what to pack and how to dress for both children and adults, along with all other general information including times, meeting points and everything else to prepare you for your session.

​

Do I need to be vaccinated to enrol my child? 

Proof of vaccination is not required.
