“An environment-based education movement--at all levels of education--will help students realize that school isn't supposed to be a polite form of incarceration, but a portal to the wider world.”
-Richard Louv, Last Child in the Woods: Saving Our Children from Nature-Deficit Disorder
Wild Wanderers is a home school community where children and families of all ages come together to learn new skills, study nature, make friends, play games and cook together.
We are now taking enrolments for Term 1, 2023 of our Wild Wanderer sessions for children aged 4 to 12 years of age. These are drop off sessions but parents/guardians of children under 5 years of age are supposed to stay back. These sessions will run throughout the school term. Last week is usually an excursion to a different park or a beach with parents and children where we play games, share ideas for the new term and just have fun.
